At the ribbon-cutting, Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings and Commissioner Nicole Wilson emphasized the park as a meaningful investment in quality of life, one that encourages family connection, outdoor activity, and community togetherness. With its accessible design and multi-use spaces, Bentonshire Park truly reflects Horizon West’s growing commitment to a walkable, family-friendly future.
This new park marks the 114th park in Orange County and represents a $1.8 million investment in expanding local recreational options.
Whether you’re bringing your toddler to slide for the first time, taking your dog for a romp, or planning a low-key family picnic, Bentonshire Park is ready to be a favorite gathering place.
